Hi Steven,

 

This was a great video but I still having a problem running a report to find the registry key value for NTLM on all  Macs and PC's on our network.  Below is the path on the computer to the LM hashes.  I need someones help in writing the correct schema for the LM hashes only for:

HKEY_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\ control\LSA\NtlmMinServerSec

I have read the Symantec Management Platform 7.1 Database Schema manual but I just can't pull this information (schema) to run the report.  I tried running this in SQL and from the Symantec Management console.

Hi Steven:

Thanks a lot for this video. I didn't understand the differences between Report and Query parameters, but your video (and your explanation) showed me what are them for.

BTW: Recording a video on 12/31? :)

I wish there would be more short videos like this.

Hmm - I wish there was some documentation around this - we plan on having more detail with the release of 7.1. We really only have whats found in the user documentation - I'm good with creating videos for each of these though - I may have to plan this for early next month - given our current release time frames...cheers

Good video, Steve.  Is there a document somewhere that defines each type of value provider, what it does and how to use it ?
