Password Recovery: If the account has been locked out due to repeated logon attempts, the resetpass.bat tool does not unlock the account. The default lockout period is 15 minutes.
Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 Release Update 1 Maintenance Patch 1 (RU1 MP1) or greater does not use resetpass.bat and it has been removed from the Tools directory.
For the Symantec Endpoint Protection Enterprise Edition, do not use the admin account when setting up Active Directory Authentication. You must use a new Administrator account to use Active Directory authentication.

Hi There,
I have checked the above video but I cannot login to SEPM at all. However, upon checking "Mailconfig.properties", I see the email address but the reset password doesn't seems to work as I don't receive any email at all.
One othe thing is that, I'm not sure whether this is due to the domain change. Because, I had an issue with my earlier AD which was "domain.local" and now its "domain.int".. Does this make any issue?
Lastly, is it okay to completely uninstall and re-install the server? would it cause any issues?

One of the possibility could be email address is not configured correctly.
You can try with resetpass.bat file. This batch file will reset the username and password .
If you have a valid license, no reason support can't help. Do you?
This is not help us. We are not receiving any mail from TEMP Password. than how would reset the password.
