These are taken from the SMP, just add a new "Location" Resource.

Hello TGiles,

Do I go to in the SMP to Home\Organizational Types\Location to add the new location?

Thanks,

Maritza

Hello Maritza,

The location information used by ServiceDesk is collected from your Symantec Management Platform. To add new locations you will need to add the location in the SMP console.

I am new to editing or creating a Workflow from a template.  A SD agent is requesting a new site to be added to the location drop down box on the Create Service Request Incident Form.

How do I add a new location to an existing form for the Location drop down box on the Service request form?

Our Workflow is 7.5.

Thanks in advance,

Maritza

This video, as well as the others, were very helpful.  The only problem I have is, when I create the custom library, a table is never created in the processmanager database.  Therefore, I can't add the profile definition because there is no table to point to.  I have maually created a table in SQL and can add the profile then.  I have done all of this with the application identity credentials.  Am I missing a step?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you so much!  I don't know if I would have figured that one out.  That was a huge help.

Thanks again!

unfortunately you always have to run one of the generated components for the table to be created or adjusted.  build a quick simple workflow, load your library in, put a "search" component in and give it some bogus values to look for.  the simple act of even trying to search will build the table.

this was one of those things i just had to kind of figure out.
