  • 1.  Windows Server 2012 supported by Altiris SMP 7.1 / 7.5?

    Are there any official information when Windows Server 2012 will be supported by SMP 7.1 and/or SMP 7.5? The official support matrix for Symantec Management Platform and Altiris Solutions wasn't updated since february 2012. (http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO9965)

    Any information about this topic will be appreciated. Thanks!

    Check out http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC6193 for current Windows 8/Windows Server 2012 support information.  To answer your question, no, there is no official information, but I would expect to see support in 7.5 at the least.  The official answer comes when the Platform Support Matrix (PSM) is updated.

    There is this about Windows 8:

    "Managing Microsoft Windows 8 computers using Client and Server Management Suite and Symantec Management Platform 7.1 SP2"
