I download the SEP & SEPM 11.0.5002.333 from your site and install the sep on workstation and update it and it work good;
then i install SEPM on the server in my company on windows server 2008 sp2 32-bit And SEP and live update work good but Definition stay at  31-12-2009
i download your patch and apply it on server the problem solved;
after a week i remove the windows and install windows server 2008 r2 standard edition 64-bit.
after start up windows and installing hp proliant dl 380 g6 drivers -----> immediately installing SEPM on the server it installed.
then i open the SEPM console and going to admin tab and server tab and click on livupdate contend and click on download .
after a day i attention than Definition not update .
i immediately installing the above downloaded patch the patch applied but my problem not solved.
then i uninstall SEPM and install SEP only on this OS .
then i open the sep and click on liveupdate ----> the liveupdate appears and start to download 5% 10% and then complete downloading butt the live update windows stay staid and don't apply any Definition.
please help me update my SEP on windows server 2008 r2 64-bit.

What is the value of this reg key?

The value for this key will be 1 

So if we understand you right you were not able to download the latest definitions for SEPM on Windows server 2008 r2 standard edition 64-bit. Therefore you uninstalled SEPM and kept the SEP installed. Now when you run liveupdate the download gets stuck at 10%.

Is that correct?.

If this is the scenario then try uninstalling the Liveupdate from add/remove programs and download and install Liveupdate version 3.5 from the following ftp site.

ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/liveupdate/3.5/

try running the liveupdate by going to Start>>run>>LUALL and hit enter

whenever i solve this problem from this link on windows server 2008  sp2  32-bit. and solve my problem.
butt in windows 2008 r2 64-bit  liveupdate download definitions butt liveupdate windows don't closed after complete & therefor  don't apply Definition.

I uninstall SEPM becuse liveupdate don't show any download details.
and when install SEP 11.0.5002.333 unmanaged , when click on live update it apears that Definition is downloading and complete the process ;
butt after downloading 100% its windows dont closed and there fore don't apply downloded files;
i remove liveupdate 3.3 from program and features and reinstall new downloaded livupdate 3.3 from this link

then i open SEP and click On LiveUpdate .

i will go to my office tomarrow and read the key value .
i too copy the live update text completely and sent for help you to solve it.
i think SEP have problem with windows seven.

because of the core of Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit Is Seven and SEP have problem with it
And The the core of Windows Server 2008 SP2 32-bit Is Vista and SEP Execute Normally.

Yes there is some issues are present ,but most of them having workarounds,anyway we will try to solve it step by step.

The SEPM stops downloading virus definitions shortly after the definitions patch is applied

Try this
Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 11.x is not updating 32 or 64 bit virus definitions.


If not helps,
 
Uninstall liveupdate from add/remove programs delete the folder c:\program data\symantec\liveupdate
Install liveupdate
Click Start, then Run.
Type cmd, then click OK. This will bring up a command prompt.
At the command prompt type cd and the path to lucatalog.exe. By default the command would be:

cd C:\Program Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\bin

Type lucatalog.exe -update
,repeat the steps in above doc

open  control pannel
open liveudapte
make the mode to interactive
start - run - luall.exe
when the list to download appears try to download a single component (smaller size)
check if that downloads successfully

I did install SEP 11.0.5002.33 On My Server Butt Its Update Dont apply. 1-i was open the control pannel 2-and was 2click On Live Update 3-made the mode to interactive 4-Then open the SEP And Click On LiveUpdate 5-Then Click On Next 6-In this List Click On All Exept 2 Fisrst (Definitions) 7-Then Click Next 8-The Proactive Treat And Network Treat Protection Was Update Quickly. 9-Then I Execute My Downloaded Definition On the Server (20100228-035-v5i64.exe) 10-i was open the control pannel 11-and was 2click On Live Update 12-made the mode to Express. 13-Then open the SEP And Click On LiveUpdate 14-The Live Update Execute An Downloaded Remaining Update.
