    hi - I have seen this message in Server. kindly guide me how to clear it??

     

    Is this issue due to any mis-configurartion??

    Pls help.

    Firstly edit the proxy settings on SEPM,

    Set the proxy server settings. CLick on  Admin-->Servers---> server  name-edit  properties-proxy server.

    Also try following the below steps.

    Launch the Windows Control Panel.

    1. Open Add or Remove programs and click the Add/Remove Windows Components button.
    2. Disable the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration option, and then click Next.
    3. Upon completion of the Windows Components Wizard, click Finish. You may need to restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

    SEPM gets this details directly from Internet.

    So that means Proxy Information is not setup correctly in the SEPM.

    setting is perfect but I can't be able to restart or Disable the Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration.

    Same is enable from last 1 year and i am facing issue from last 3-4 hour.

    Hello,

    Are you carrying Proxy in your Environment??

    If yes, check the Steps provided above by pete.

    It could happen that maybe the LiveUpdate catalog or the SEPM installation is damaged.

    1) If it is a very fresh installation, just wait some hours

    2) Reinstall LiveUpdate without saving the catalog but re-creating it:

    3) Repair SEPM from add/remove programs

    If the clients are already up-to-date, it means that they are taking the definitions from another source.

    4) Also check the Liveupdate Policy for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, if the same is properly configured. The same could be done by:

    SEPM > Admin > Servers > Highlight Local Site > Edit Site Properties > Liveupdate
