  • 1.  Whether Microsoft CAL licence is required for each sep client under SQL databese scenario

    Posted Jan 21, 2013 05:26 AM

    Hi Team

We are installing SEPM(version 12.1x) on Windows Server 2008 with Microsoft SQL  2012 as database. Please let me know whether we have to procure Microsoft CAL licences for each sep client installed in the network ...?

    Hi.

    No, It's not required.

You need only sep 12.1 client licence.

What SEPM version are you using ?

    SEP 12.1 RU1 MP1 can support sql 2012
