  • 1.  What causes ghost to time out on large files?

    Ghost is hanging during the middle of an update on a larger file.. we have tried defrags and disk checks.. what could be causing this?  Other users are able to ghost without issue

    Is there a max filesize that ghost can send?

    Are you referring to restoring an image file, or a file transfer operation from the Ghost Console, or something else? If you clarify, then I could offer an answer.

    Sorry I didnt clarify earlier.. this is for a scheduled backup ... The pc starts the backup, but never completes the transfer successfully.    What logs could give me more information to report on the issue?

    In the Ghost Console, click on View > Task Log. Double-click the task. Then click View > Error File and post the contents of that.

    (several successful steps above these...)
    Run Dos client Upgrade - Success
    Files updated on Client - Success
    Step - Clone - Failed

    Details for: Clone
    Clone failed and could not open the ghosterr.txt for retrieval

     I am having the same problem.  Are there any known solutions for this?
