Is there a log or field for a log that reports that a client recived a WOL packet and it woke up? This is opposed the fact that a computer was already on and received a WOL packet and ignored it. Is there a way to determine if a computer was actually woken with the package?

    Hi,

I would say no. WOL packet sending is logged at the engine, but this is not directly tied to the job you were trying to run, and would reveal only the MAC addresses.

You could perhaps do something funky with the sessions table before the job is executed to check what clients have active sessions, but this isn't robust as some connections do get stale (for whatever reason) and thus some agents will still need kicked.

Sorry I couldn't be more positive on this one. Its a pretty tricky one as the WOL event although shown in the console isn't recorded in the job execution history or computer history.
