This is very urgent,

All your help is really appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance :)

    Regards,

    Syed Akram.

There should be only few product codes for the versions , log on to a single box of each version and get the product code for various versions. once you have that you can use the msiexec to uninstall.

You put all the list if it ables to find it will go with uninstall or else will go with next product key

@shish thanks for your quick reply, the link you provided does not have solution to my problem, first of all i cannot login to each computer to remove it from Add or Remove Programs, secondly i cannot open regisrty of 100's of computers and find out the Product Code with which i could uninstall, is there a way i could deploy a script to all those machines which uninstalls all the previous versions of SEP, or Clean Wipe Utility is the only Option..?

    Thanks & Regards,

    Syed Akram.

For removing previous version of Symantec products you can use the SEPprep tool:

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH148513

...otherwise please note if you are upgrading to newer SEP version - uninstalling of previous 11.x client is not necessary. Installer can without issue migrate from previous versions.

    Hello Syed Akram,

    Following article you can refer

How to uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client silently using the command line

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH105827

In this article following note is important:

Considerations if an uninstall password is in place

If you set a password for client uninstallation, you cannot uninstall the client silently. Clients with an uninstall password are prompted for the password, which must be entered manually. To uninstall the client silently, disable the password.

Also no need to open registry of 100's of computers and find out the Product Code. For each SEP version there would be only 1 common code.

For example the key for Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.671.4971 is A3AEEA68-AC93-4F6F-8D2D-78BBF7E422B8.

Cleanwipe should be use as a last resort.

Why don't you disable password from SEPM console & then run the script to uninstall SEP clients

Why don't you directly upgrade the clients

You can use competitive uninstaller as well.
