I downloaded trial version of SEP 12 on my home PC (Windows XP Professional).

How do I activate a trial version of SNAC?

You need to purchase the SEP 12.1 license and then add the license to your SEPM console.

    Check this kb

I looked around on the Trialware site and was not able to find an installer for SNAC under Symantec Protection Suite 4.0. You may need to contact sales to see if they will be able to provide you with some other way of obtaining. Then the inbuilt 60day temp should work.

Once the actual product is purchased, you install SEPM from the SNAC installer and install the SNAC or SPS 4.0 license into SEPM to unlock SNAC.

So I did some checking around and here is what I found out:

1 - The SNAC Trial is in fact something you will need to request from Symantec Sales or your Reseller will be able to assist you with obtaining a Trial.

2 - Even though this is a moot point, I also noticed that the license file you receive from the Trialware site when downloading SPS gives you an .slf for SPS 3.0 which is the prior version. A request has been made to get this updated to SPS 4.0 which should happen in about a week.
