    Hello,

SAV9 was the last version of SAV to work with Windows NT, but its been at total end of life for over a year now.

The better solution for customers wishing to protect NT4 is Critical System Protection.

Critical System Protection is Lightweight, high speed, cross platform server and workstation IPS

It should be the correct solution for Windows NT OS.

    OK , good hint.

So far we're using McAfee Application Control, formerly “Solidcore” for NT4 systems.
But I really want to use SEP11 System Lockdown on production PC's
I've just requested a Trialware for Critical System Protection.
Let's see if IPS is enough.....

While it's understandable that from a business or legacy application support standpoint, NT may still be used.  However, if Microsoft ends support for an OS or application, than it's pretty safe to say that within 3yrs time, you'll see support from Symantec killed.  Thats about 3yrs after MS's date.  With NT, we're way past that...

And it's not just Symantec that takes that stance.

If I am not wrong Windows NT reached its End of life in  June,2003.

And SEP came in 2007.There is no way a new application would have support for an OS which has reached the EOL by the OEM long before the new application is released.
