AV update should not have any issue if bandwidth is average. Check if GUP design in place.

Also, check for schedule scan timing. But, if you are saying its 3 times a day, schedule scan may also not be the issue.

if it is during the update time, can you check the process that uses more memory/cpu?

is the definition download delta on these machines?

    Hello,

I would suggest you to change the Liveupdate Policy for SEPM to update itself at a particular time.

and SEP to update themselves aswell only 1 time in entire day.

To avoid users from being affected, you can choose a right time when they are using the computers least. For example: Lunchtime.

    Hope that helps!!

    Hello,

For a Liveupdate to complete, I think 20 min is more than enough.

    However, in your case .. I would suggest a 1 - 5 hour difference.

Again, is the server performing any other tasks at night like Backup and so on ?

Please make sure that you do that that in account as well.

    Hope that helps!!
