    Hi,

Could you please tell me that  what Process is taking the highest CPU & memory usage and how much?

Is the SEPM performing any aother activity other than being a SEPM server?

Is there a Network application which accessing the network continously?

    Hello,

When a Package is being pushed from the SEPM to the client machines, you would surely see a network activity.

Are these clients on WAN network?? Check these Articles:

Best practices when deploying Symantec Endpoint Protection client package over saturated 64k WAN links.

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH132352

Secondly, I hope the correct Exclusions are created in SEPM for SAP, check this Article:

What scan exclusions could be applied in Symantec Antivirus or Symantec Endpoint Protection on a server running SAP?

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH134382

Here are the - Best practices for upgrading to Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.2

    Hope that helps!!

    Hi,

Auto upgrade should not slow the network. SEPM won't upgrade all the clients at a same time.

It would upgrade only 10 clients at a time. Also you can schedule upgrade time during non production hours.

Have you tried to check performance after stopping auto upgrade?

If you have limited number of client then use CDW method & deploy new package during non production hours.

As everyone said always follow the best practice

    Hi,

We logged a case with Symantec technical support and we found that issue is with firewall settings in the policy..they guided us to keep only minimum settings not all

Now after fine tuning the settings the clients are working fine with full protection
