Hi, I have the same issue, and i noticed that this only happens if  I have set a different languague of English, as default on the IE browser.   I think They forgot to add an Language pack for this console.

If you have any solution for this I will appreciate,

    Regards,

    Vicky

Try increasing your StringCacheSize by performing the following:

    1. Stop the Altiris Services, IIS, and the World Wide Web Publishing service
    2. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Symantec\SMP\Settings
    3. Make a backup copy of the coresettings.config
    4. Edit the coresettings.config with text editor such as notepad++.
    5. CTRL-F to find the key "StringCacheSize". Increase the value to 50000.
    6. Save the file and start the services again.

If that doesn't do it then try increasing it up to 100000. The only cost to increasing the string cache size is more memory usage. This isn't as huge of an issue on 7.1 since it is on a 64 bit OS. The default size of 10000 was carried over from 7.0 where there was less memory available. We've found that some areas of the console that load a large number of items (such as Organization Groups and views) may not load properly if the string cache is too small. If you have imported a large number of groups from Active Directory for example then that could explain why you are running into this issue.

In this scenario we usually see it load, but most of the tree nodes have blank names. However, I would not be surprised if an insufficient string cache caused the error you are seeing as well.

There is also a securitycachesize setting in the coresettings.config. If you are exceeding that then you should see trace or informational messages stating so in the SMP logs. In such a case, I would recommend you increase the SecurityCacheSize to 100000 as well (it's 50000 by default).
