    Hi

    We using ITMS 7.1 SP2b

    In our console suddely Symantec Management Agent install page giving this error when we going we going to open this page

    Hi CBZ9104,

    Could you please verify the error message using the Altiris Log Viewer? Please let us know witch error message is logged when you click on this item.

    Hi CBZ9104,

    This error connected to database communication, please tell me the NS server and SQL server located in same server or not…
    This error showing only installation agent tab or any other tab also.

    NS server and SQL Server are on different hardware.

    This particular error is coming  only for this Symantec Management Agent Install page only

    Hi CBZ1904,

    There is an option to use the AexConfig.exe \reconfigure. Please open the cmd.exe with Administrative Rights:

    1) Using the cmd.exe go to E:\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\Bin

    2) Execute the following command line:

    AeXConfig.exe /configure "e:\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\Config\CoreAgentSettings.config"

    If your Notification Server is installed in another drive, please change letter E: for the proper drive letter.
