    Anyone know for when estimating out the supported version of Symantec Encryption Desktop for Windows 8 ..?

    Hi There,

    We have Windows 8 tablets that our mobile staff will be using but I've tried installing this on and it won't work.  They use Dell Latitude 10 tablets, would this be in any future releases as it seems to be very limited to the tablets the Encryption software works on.

    Windows 8.1 is still not supported.

    They are Windows 8 Pro edition.

    @netw0rkm0nkey  As per release notes of SED 10.3.1 http://www.symantec.com/docs/DOC6697  Windows 8 UEFI

     

    - Tablets and any systems without a wired or OEM-supplied attachable keyboard are not supported

    ■ Authenticating at PGP BootGuard on Dell XT Tablets: To authenticate at the PGP BootGuard screen when using Dell XT tablets, use the built-in keyboard on the tablet. You cannot use a pen, stylus, USB keyboards, or eTokens when authenticating on these tablets. [2636340]
