After upgrading to 11.0.7, we are getting the following pop up when emailing from Outlook 2007:

Your email message was unable to be sent because your mail server rejected the message:

421 Resources temporarily unavailable - Please try again later.

    1003, 11

We do not get any messages in Outlook saying the message did not go through.  What exactly does that mean?

    --- snip ---

This error occurs when Merak Email Server is trying to read or write to disk and fails.

The most probable causes of this problem are listed below:

    1. The directories set in the System -> Storage -> Directories tab do not exist
    2. The Merak Service does not have the correct access permissions to the above directories
    3. A disk drive is full
    4. Your disk is somehow corrupted
    5. A user is very close to exceeding the mailbox size limit and he/she tries to send a message via WebMail and save such message to Sent folder.

    Hello Chris ,

Could you please try disable outlook scanner on 1 machine as a test on which you see this message .

go to add remove select sep change modify custom and disable outlook scanner and follow the wizard and observe this machine for event logs etc

if this is fixed with above there will be policy change which will be needed from sepm to clients .
