Endpoint Protection

One of the client PCs in here have this error; "Symantec CMC SmcGui has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience..." It wont go away even if I click the "Dont Send" button.

This is the version: SEP 11.0 RU5(11.0.5002.333)

Any help would be much appreciated.

open services.msc

disabe symantec managment client service

frm the task manager; kill all the instance of smc.exe

resart the symantec manager service; and put it to automatic
