My SEP12.1 management server is reporting all my clients as out-of-date due to old SONAR content.  However LiveUpdate on the server, and test clients connecting directly to Symantec LiveUpdate, both report all their definitions as fully up to date.

I suspect this might be related to the date format issue identified in http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH164272 but would like confirmation if possible, as the article explicitly states that it applies to IPS and Download Protection defs.

As an aside, I think it would be beneficial if the Security Response site (http://www.symantec.com/business/security_response/definitions.jsp) indicated what the current SONAR defs are too, as it does for other SEP components.

There is nothing wrong and this date is correct, PTP defs in SEP 12.1 have been a little behind since it came out:

But that doesn't stop my SEPM from reporting that these are out of date unfortunately crying

I'm hoping to find out why this is the case (i.e. is it related to the date format issue I pointed out or something else entirely), and when it might be resolved?

Could be likely per this doc:

This issue is indeed related to the time format issue I pasted the URL of in my OP.  The article was also updated yesterday with the workaround steps.

The date format changes only need to be performed within Security Status Summary on the Home page, through Preferences -> Logs and Reports, any date format other than DDMMYY works fine, and no date format changes need be made to Windows.

#EDIT#  You can also just change the Date separator and leave the date format unchanged as DDMMYY, any date separator other than the slash / works fine.
