I had forgotten then username and password for our Symantec Enpoint Protection Manager.  I have followed the steps and ran the resetpass.bat that is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools.  It appeared that the bat file was running and I was able to see the word "English" appear, but when I went to sign in using the username: admin password:admin, I still received the same error.

After trying this many many times,  I ended up restaring the Symantec Endpoint Services and subsequently running the resetpass.bat again.  I waited several minutes and it finally worked.

I only post this because if someone else would have posted this, it would have saved me several hours.
