SEPM latest on manager date not changing

    We see that SEPM latest on manager date is not changing, but the server & reporting clients are updated with the latest defintion.

    What is the date of sepm and on clients reflect?

    try to update the definition manually on server and see it will change.

    Hello all,

    The latest certified definitions available at this moment are 2/2/2014 rev. 3 (defs version 160202c).  There is a page that always displays this latest certified version: http://www.symantec.com/security_response/definitions/certified/

    If the definitions within an organization are reflecting that information, I would not worry about what is displayed in the SEPM main page.  Treat that as a temporary cosmetic issue and rest assured that the clients have the latest available protection. 

    If the clients are not showing that they have 2/2/2014 rev. 3 (or whatever is latest at the moment), then I recommend running LiveUpdate from the SEPM.  If that does not successfully download and apply these latest certified definitions, then using a Rapid Release .jdb file to bring the SEPM up-to-date is an option.

    Clients are updated with the latest defintion. only on the SEPM dashboard its shows latest frm symantec 02/02/2014 latest on manager 31/01/2014 but the SEPM & clients are updated.

    Same here across:

    5 customers, 12 SEPMs (12.1 RU2,RU3 and RU4).

    I also point out that our 11.x SEPMs (yes we're still fighting to get these upgraded) are perfectly fine and show the latest manager version correctly.

    We report to our customers on a daily basis using the homepage monitors and as such will report to our customers the above quote from Mick2009:

    "Treat that as a temporary cosmetic issue."

    Will be monitoring this thread, since the last temporary cosmetic issue, turned out to require modification of the Server.xml or an upgrade to a 12.1.x.

    I am having the same issue on my five 12.1.4 SEPMs but all clients are up to date.

    Still your issue not resolved ..

    Do you have try to refresh SEPM console.

    Yes........

    But only the latest on symantec date is getting changed.

    What version SEPM are you using ?Does your sep client are updated latest version ?

    All the clients are able to download the latest def from the manager. SEPM v12.4

    If still your issue not resolved..you need to wait some time or contact to symantec support.

    But that is not a problem resolved automatic.
