    Is it possible to deploy SEP in Guest Operating System Installed in Hyper-V?

    Yes, it's absolutely possible.

    As SEP is an individual antivirus package.

    So you can directly copy the Package to any guest OS and install it over there.

     

    But you need to make sure the connectivity of SEP clietn with SEPM so as to monitor the SEP client.

    Thanx Avkash I think it will Support Hyper-V guest OS.

    But Rather to do this i can Install SEP at Home OS and It will protect Guest OS from MALWARE.

    Is it Possible to configure such Infrasructure???

    If you check the article correctly, it's clearly mentioned that Symantec security products cannot be installed directly onto the Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 operating system, which is a Hypervisor OS (like VMWare's ESX server).

    But i have heard somewhere about the technique you are talking about, but not sure for any perticluar Syamntec product.

    How about SEP manager in an hyper v guest OS? Is there an effect on the peformance?
