    The answer is yes PTP and IPS / NTP are supported on Windown Server 2008, just be carefull while configuring, follow the above best practices.

    Yes you can and they are both supported but I would test before hand. If it is a high bandwidth server, IPS may cause it to perform slowly. Also make sure to test the firewall as well as it could block needed traffic.

    Hi,

    PTP feature is fully supported from SEP 12.1 on Server operating systems.

    You can use either NTP (Network Threat Protection) or Windows firewall on server operating systems.

    We do recommend to use NTP feature on server operating system & make necessary port exceptions if required.
