Endpoint Protection

Is 64bit OS supported by SEPv11MP3, as it will be by new SEP 12.1?

We are running v11.0.6a.  We are starting to upgrade to 64bit Windows 7 endpoints now.

We currently have nearly 2,000 32bit Windows XP clients running NTP and using the I.P.S. and A.D.C. policies. 

I would prefer to not have a prolonged interruption of support for I.P.S. and A.D.C. if possible, while waiting for SEP12.1 to finally be released.

SEP 11.6MP3 does not support ADC on 64 bits systems however it will support IPS.

Vikram, would SEPv11.0.6a happen to support the I.P.S. policy now on the 64bit Windows 7 endpoints?  That is the SEP version we are currently running in our environment. 

If it does then I would not have to upgrade to MP3 now, just to upgrade again upon the release of SEP12.1.  It would be nice to go straight from v11.0.6a to v12.1.

Can you share with me a tentative release date?

Hi jdk1965,

Full 64-bit support for ADC and other features is coming in SEP 12.1.  I recommend trying out the beta (available now!) to see if it meets your needs.
