    is SEP 12.1.2015.2015 the SEP 12.1 RU2 windows 8 update?

    yes thats the version SEP 12 RU 2 which will support windows 8.

    Hello,

    Correct. SEP 12.1 RU2 is the earliest supported build which is compatable with Windows 8 and Server 2012.
