  • 1.  Script error in console

I see this error often when I click on hyperlinks on console main page.

I click yes and it goes away, sometime comes back, second click ok usually opens report.

I get this on both server consoles. Doesn't happen every time

Any ideas how to fix. I haven't called support yet.

I found a defect similar to this that was fixed in RU6a (11.0.6005), but it's not exactly the same as you're showing.

What version of SEP are you running?
    What OS?
Is this in the SEPM console on the server, or a remote console?
     - If remote: Java or HTML?

Sometimes this happens when your login has expired and you click on a link you get this error. But once you re login its won't come

also try running the console as admin if its on OS having UAC

Right click on the File and Run As Administrator.

Possibly the current session has timed out and SEPM server is in the process of terminating the connection. It is most likely in the TIME_WAIT phase.

Closing the manager and logging in usually works. I also tried allowing the continuing of the scripts which usually brings me either to the page I requested or back to the login page.

You may also want to check the SEPM server logs for errors.

    My environment:

    4900 Clients

    2 SEPM servers

    Windows Server 2003 R2

99.6% of the clients are 11.0.6000.550

We did not go to 11.0.6a, as we did not experience the issues others were having.

The error can occur immediatly after logging on to console. .

UAC is disabled, that's the first thing I tried.

I have IE 8, our machines are patched in an effort to limit infection problems and it works.

Seems like it may be isolated to my workstation, I'm running Windows 7 64bit. it is the java client. The web version is not my favorite application

I can run the console from a vm running Windows xp sp3 and it is fine.

I think that I may have to live with it. It works but that prompt comes up when accessing html content embedded in the console. It you click yes enought it finally opens the report.
