I have Restarted the server and sometimes we receive an error message "Apache HTTP server encountered a problem and needs to close."
Have Symantec Backup Exec on the same computer, and this happens every saturday in the morning in between 7 - 7.30 when Backup exec is taking a back of the system.
According to the readme .txt file of SEP 12, came to know that this issues occurs if the firewall is turned on it needs exceptions..
However, the Firewall is Turned off.
Uninstalled SEP client fromt he machine and checked again.. same issue...
Checked by installaing SPC on another server.
We do not receive error messages on another.
The difference between the two computers is only of Backupexec 12 running on the machine with the issue.
Ran a Symantec Endpoint protection Support tool
It showed 1 error, WPShelper service failure
Checked the version of the c:\windows\system32\drivers\wpshelper.sys, it was 12.0.1.41
Started the driver service to automatic from the Device manager.
Restarted the computer and we did not receive the erorr message.
httpd.exe errors started back 9/13/2009 at 8:29PM
Installed On another Server...however the same errors have statred on another server as well...
Could someone please check if this a common issue or specific environmental Issue??
