Endpoint Protection

In testing the latest RU6A clients on x64 operating systems (Windows 7) we are noticing that Proactive Threat Protection installs and shows as defintions are updating.  Is this feature now compatable with x64 operating systems?  What about Server OS's? 

I never did see in the release notes that this was something Symantec got working on x64 so I am wondering if it is actually functioning, or just installed and not really doing anything.

The Knowledge base articles haven't been updated either.

According to another thread in this form it is working in 64 bit

Thanks, but I but I want to know if it's really doing anything.  It may be installed, but still not compatable and thus, not really doing threat protection like it does on x86 operating systems.  Before MR3 you could install it, and someitmes it would say it was getting defs on x64, or just say waiting for updates.

Hoping a Symantec employee would chime in here.  I would think Symantec would be posting this in the release notes or updating their knowledge base articles if it was in fact 100% working and supported.

The system logs for proactive threat protection are blank on the clients I am testing so it's hard to tell for me.

Proactive Threat Protection Still does not work on Servers OS or 64 Bit Version of Windows.

Thank you..I will reconfigure my test clients on x64 back to just AS and AV.

I figured Symantec would have put something in the release notes if they had got it working.  Thanks.
