File Share Encryption

HI Guys,

I need a solution i have one customer who have purchased licenses for PGP universal server WDE and PGP blackberry edition i was deployed PGP universal server and ecrypt WDE on their laptops. This task was completed now the remaining one is PGP blackberry edition i would like to know how to deploy support package for Blackberry smartphones and how to encrypt emails and how is it works. i need a immediate response my deployment was stuck so please helpp me guys..

BlackBerry Devices are managed by a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) which include IT Policies that contain all the settings and preferences that are downloaded by the BlackBerry device. When a PGP Universal Server is deployed in a BES environment, the BlackBerry devices do not communicate to the PGP Universal Server, but rather the BES communicates with the PGP Universal Server. The BlackBerry devices then receive PGP Universal Server policy via the BES.

Hello,

First you have to enable email encryption on your desktop, and configure the email policy for your internal users. the problem if you use just the PGP Support package for BB that when i user recieve an encrypted email he will not be able to read it on her email client just on the BB device.

- Enroll the users

- configure the global policy for key management and email desktop parameters

- Setup your email encryption policy

- test email encryption with the email client on desktop

- key conditionning

- install the PGP Support package for BB
