We have some servers running apache (wamp stack ) and  sep 12.1 full protection for servers installed in that servers . Since network threat protection installed everytime a user access the web , sep will scan and it may slow down the  operation . To avoid slowness what should i do ? . What if i exclude the folder where apahce executable resides .By the way firewall policy has disabled

Please install only antivirus version in servers..since applications will get affected

=> please clarify which module is causing latency: Auto-protect or Network Threat Protection?

Can you confirm you have the same problem with Antivirus/Antispyware protection only? If you don't, it seems the problem comes from Firewall/IPS looking at inbound/outbound traffic. You may then add some Firewall rules to allow this specific traffic or IPS host exclusion to do not analyze this traffic at all (keep in mind this is lowering your security level).

We usually have PTP & NTP disabled on the servers.

Kindly disable sonar component only and keep all other enabled from Sep client on this machine and check .

If this work kindly contact support and open a case . Sonar is not suggested to be disabled however to find root cause this will help .
