  • 1.  Multiple Centralized Exception Policies apply more than one group

It is able to define multiple Centralized Exception Policies and apply more than one group. Similar to linking multiple GPOs to one OU.

I know about "user-definded exceptions" on that particular SEP Client but that is not what I'm looking for.

    reg.

No you cannot do that for mutiple policy, only one policy  can be applied for one group ( Each type)

You can apply different policies if you have multiple locations setup (ie. off network and on network) but not different policies to one group.

I will create one Centralized Exception Policie with all exceptions. How will this affect performance?

    Thanks Brian81 and Rafeeq.

CE will not affect any performance, when you create it you are actually asking the AV software not to scan those folders, so there is actually an increase in the client performance.

Folders / files will be excluded from all kinds of scans; so exclude only those which are business critical.
