  • 1.  Move SEPM to New Server (with database not embedded)

    Posted Feb 25, 2013 11:48 AM

    Hello,

Due to some physical problems on my SEPM server I wish to migrate it to a new one.

The database is not embedded, it is installed on another server (Win Server 2008 R2 / SQL Server 2008 R2). I also want to migrate this database server to a new one.

What is the best procedure to migrate two servers (SEPM & BD)?

1 / Start by migrate the Database and then migrate the SEPM (which method i have to use? by Replication or Disaster Recovery?)

2 / Migrate to the new SEPM server (Replication or Disaster Recovery?) And then perform the migration of the database server.

    Thank you for your support!
