Missing report Windows Compliance by Computer - Details in NS7

I was able to add the OS Name and Domain to the report, but I haven't been able to add the "Severity" filter yet. Has anyone been able to accomplish this?

    Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure I understand.  This report shows the number of vulnerable updates for a particular computer.  How would you represent the severity?  Are you wanting a list of all missing updates and their severities, per computer?

In NS6 there is a report that lets you filter by severity "Microsoft Compliance and Vulnerability by Computer - Details". The severity levels are set by the vendor. The levels are not displayed in the report. Do I make sense? Maybe taking a look of the report in NS6 will make better sense.

    thanks

This report does not exist in NS7.  You classified this as 7.x but you mention a 6.x report.  What version are you using?

I would like some help to re-create that same report in NS7. I was able to add the OS Name and Domain Name columns to the report, but I am unable to add the severity filter.

Hi guys, this is really stumping me too.  The big boss man of our company is asking if it's possible to get the severity back into the reports, any help is appriciated.

What report (in 7.x) do you mean (please provide exact name)? I can see "severity" column in: Software Bulletin Details, Compliance by Bulletin and Compliance by Update reports on PM 7.1.

This is the name of the report in NS7 "Windows Compliance by Computer" which is similar to the report in NS6 "Microsoft Compliance and Vulnerability by Computer" The difference is that in NS7 there is no severity filter and the there are no OS Name or Domain Name columns in the report (I have added those to columns to a custom report).

What would this look like?  Right now you have a report that says installed, applicable, vulnerable -- per computer.  Would the new report look like this instead?

    Computer A

    • High vulnerable 5, Medium vulnerable 2, Low vulnerable 1
    • High installed 42, Medium installed 88, Low installed 14
    • High applicable 47, Medium applicable 90, Low applicable 15

    ?

The only thing missing from the report in NS7 is the filter. This allows our patch admin to be able to filter the different severity patches and report it back to different departments.

    Report in NS6

    Report in NS7

The filter for severity is missing in NS7.

The only thing we want to be able to do is to filter the results.

    Thanks.

This stumps me because it calls a stored procedure.  If it uses a stored procedure and modifications are desired, is that a feature request?  Or do mere mortals like us have the ability to work with these?

I was able to modify the stored procedure to display the missing columns with no issue at all. If  I run the stored procedure from NS6 in NS7 it runs with no problems, but I do not know how to create store proc with the paramaters needed and all I would need just to do is to create a new report with the filters needed.
