  • 1.  loading slf file shows 5 licenses activated but only 3 are shown in sepm

    Currently running SEPM vs. 12.1.2015.2015 on Server 2003 R2.

    We have licenses for 120 seats but only 100 are listed in SEPM after loading the slf that came from symantec. I had the same problem last year. SEPM just doesn't seem to want to load more then 4 licenses. We have 5 with varrying amounts.If I manually install the other 2 licenses using the add new license option vs. the load slf file I can get one of the other licneses to display and that is it.

    The .slf file only adds 3 licenses in to into sepm.

    Are you adding one by one or all at the same time? You may need to get in touch with the licensing team to get this worked out.

    I just received a single slf file and all the serials are listed in it so That would be the all at the same time? After it only loaded the three I tried doing the others one at a time. 

    Last year I did not receive an slf file so I manually entered the serials one at a time and had the same issue as this year.

    Seems as if your getting an incorrect slf file

    I was trying to use the renew license or add a new license wizard and all of the new licenses were not loading. Perhaps an issue with the wizard or corruption in the database? The answer from support was to delete all existing licenses in sepm and then reload the .slf or serial numbers. This is what worked for me.
