Hi, I am using Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 MP1. Currently I am facing some liveupdate issue. The error log is showing "server timeout". Any idea !! Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Please Upgrade the SEP to MR4 MP2 that may solve the problem.

You are using Old age SEP

    Warm regards

You can break the download into two different segments.

First select only the LUA updates and IPS signatures for download and schedule it.

Then create another download schedule for the AV and PTP signatures and schedule that as a second download. I'd done the same when I'd faced a similar issue with a customer a few months back and the splitting of the download into 2 distinct segments helped to download the entire content.
