Hi all,

I can not install LUA 2.3.0 on my WIndows 7 64bit PC. I followed the document very carefully:

- JRE 7 (32bit) has been installed.

- Newest version of LUA (2.3.0)

After at all I awalys got this message "Java LiveUpdate requires a minium of JRE (Java Runtime) 1.4 and above. Please Install that and then continue with the installation. This setup will abort now." no mather what how many times I installed JRE 32bit !!!

Please give me I solution.

I would suggest you to Install the Latest LUA 2.3.1

LUA 2.3.1 could be found on the DVD of Symantec_Endpoint_Protection_12.1_RU1_Part2_Tools_and_Documents_EN.exe

...Tools\LiveupdateLUAESD.exe

i do not see windows 7 in system requirement guide.

LUA 2.3.0 are not supported windows 7

looks like from subject 2.3.0 is being installed and in this win 7 is not supported, use 2.3.1 as suggested by Mithun Sanghavi!

Where can I download it?

In my DVD that just has 2.3.0 :(

Hi PP2K,

"Thumbs up" to the advice, above, about using LUA 2.3.1.  The beta testing of LUA 2.3.2 is underway now, so expect that to appear as an official release within coming months.

If you have a server handy that does not have SEPM on it, I recommend using that for LUA rather than Win7.

Also: current releases of LUA comes with its own built-in, pre-tuned JRE.  You don't need to worry about downloading a different JRE.

I tried to download LUA 2.3.1 your advicefrom my serial key but I got this error

"You have exceeded the maximum number of downloads allowed for this serial number. Please contact Customer Service if you need further assistance. "

What should I do now? :(

Licensing team should be contacted in such cases for checking the contract.

Licensing team can give you a temporary serial number and customer can login to Symantec File-Connect website.

You can contact Symantec Licensing Department for the same.
