    So the HF6 release notes say that the latest deployment plugin is 7.5.1602. How come my deployment solution plugins are versioned at 7.5.1603 for both x86 & x64? See attachment. My filters/targets are not updating properly and the SQL query is saying that the latest deployment plugin is >= 7.5.1602 but yet there is obviously a new version to deploy.

    We have seend a similiar issue in our enviornment.  Seems like a related issue where the Software portal will work the first few time after the update, but then eventually the client will relize it is out of sync and claim to not have a license.  I have not had time to fully vet out the issue but that is initial indications.

    I have just installed HF6 and can confirm this issue, as all three latest plugin filters do look for 1602 instead of 1603.

    The good news is that its easy to fix, by either cloning and then editing the filter; exporting, editing, and then importing the existing filters; or updating their sql by modifying their state column value.

     

    Once https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/how-correct-ds-75-hf6-latest-plugin-version-filters-so-they-will-allow-machines-upgrade-hf6 has been published, you will be able to download the corrected XML files.

    Is there an issue with the 7.5.1603 deployment plugin itself? I'm getting an exit code of 1638 on most of my 10000+ endpoints. Here is a screenshot of the Run results and another when I trey to manually run the msi on any computer.

    My 7.5 environment is running well and this is really my only issue right now.

    Thought, this was only because of different ugrade paths...

    Symantec....anyone?
