It's most likely a setting in IE but, There is a problem in the console when you click on Virus Definitions Distribution to get the report to generate and display, it opens and closes repeatedly. You can log out of the console and IE will still attempt to display the page over and over. You have to kill the IE process in Task Manager.

I'll figure it out eventually, just wanted to give a heads up on this.

What happens with IE 7 or IE 8?

Have you made security settings changes and tried

Tools-- Internet Options -- Security--internet -- custome level inside that

Enable the Java applets and signed Active-X Controls and plugins.

    And

    Tools-- Internet Options ---Advanced

Enable --Autometically recover from page layout error with compatibiltyn view

Also check which is the available Java version in Advanced (It should be compatible with SEPM)

IE 7 and 8 work just fine.

Java is the same version SEP installed. I've had trouble with that in the past so I pay attention to the java version.

I'll have to check the other settings.

Please post your results after modifying settings.  I reverted back to IE8 because of this very issue.  I don't remember successfully loading any reports--always the rapid opening/closing of blank report window.  However, it would eventually stop and I could resume normal IE activity.  I was not forced to kill the process.
