    Hello!

Which exception needs the Firewall on a Hyper-V Server? I can't find anything about it.

Or is it better to install only the AV on the Hyper-V Host?

I ask because i have problems with the DNS Querys form an Physical Server to a Hyper-V Guest. When i disable the Firewall on the Host the DNS Traffic passes with no problems.

    The SEP Version is 12.1.1101.401.

    Nice Greetings,

    Stoffl.

I would recommend you to work on the Articles below:

    1) Recommended Exceptions for Symantec Endpoint Protection on Hyper-V

    2) Using the Virtual Image Exception tool on a base image

    3) Bypassing the scanning of base image files

    Hi!

I can't find the right settings for the Firewall in these Documents, only for the AV Software.

But i wanted to know which Firewall Rules i have to create for correct Network Function.
