    Accourding to the Symantec's documentation (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH96214), I should be able to change some of the disk space setting to reduce the amount of storage is used to provide definition updates.  It appears from my other efforts to access the setting section to make adjustments (see https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/sepm-121-missing-admin-server-section ) that SEPM-SBE does not have the Admin > Server section/tab.  So my questions is simple, how do I access the setting to adjust how much disk space SEPM-SBE 12.1.1 MP1 will use?

    Hi slefevre,

    There are two products available by Symantec

    1) Enterprise Edition - Designed for medium, large organizations

    2) Small Business Edition - Designed for Small organizations, it supports upto only 100 computes, it has less features compare to Enterprise Edition.

    About your query, it's not possible to manually interfere with those settings in SBE, SEPM will do the database maintenance in the background.

    New tool is created to shrink Embedded database . This tool is for both EE and SBE.

    The option in EE is to truncate the transaction files & rebuilt Indexes, not the database. For both EE and SBE the database file itself will become bloated overtime.
