    You use the License Activation wizard in the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager to import and activate your Symantec product license.

    License activation requires either:

    • A Symantec license serial number

    • A Symantec License file (.SLF)

    Note:

    You receive one or the other of these when you purchase a license.
