I want to know details on SEP 12.1 grace period after ending the license .

Hi,

When a license is within 60 days of its expiration date, it is considered to be in a warning period. After a license expires, the licensed feature continues to operate for a specified period of time.

This specified period of time is the grace period. If the grace period expires with no license renewal, all record of the license is removed. To regain product functionality when your license expires, you must renew and reactivate your license subscription.

Grace Period: Additional validity beyond expiration date.

Grace Seats: Additional seats beyond number of seats they have purchased

Product to product grace period may change.

Licenses also use the concept of “Grace Values.”

Upgrade license 

Allows the customer to use the product for a period when they migrate from any previous version of SEP to SEP 12.1 Enterprise.

Applicable to only Enterprise Edition.

Has 90 days of validity.

Is a soft enforcement license.

Unlimited node license.

In SEP 12.1 EE after grace period expiry you & your partner will receive notifications about same but you will receive updates from Symantec.

In SEP 12.1 SBE after grace period expiry you & your partner will get notification about same &  you will NOT receive any updates from Symantec all sources.
