I Installed Ghost Client Agent on a desktop running 32 bit Windows XP sp3 using Symantec Ghost Console. The installation was successful. However the Ghost Client crashed. I tried to reinstall the Client using the installation CD. The same result occured.

The notebook is an Amilo Pro v2010. I did perform a reinstall using the manufactured CDs. I wanted to get rid of old crap thus trying to speed up this PC.

Then I wanted to use the AI Builder to make installation packets to use with the GSS 11.5.1.2266 Console. With a nonfunction Client I'm stuck.

    What am I to do?

If I understand your posting correctly, your problem is that ngctw32.exe is crashing.

If my understanding is correct, I would recommend entering ngctw32.exe into the search field at the top of this forum, so that you can view past threads about this EXE.

From the log information, it would appear that you are running Ghost Solution Suite 2.5.1.2266, but there is no mention of the operating system on your client machine, and I cannot see any indication of whether you are running a 32 bit or 64 bit O/S. It would be helpful to get answers to these questions if you need further help.

    Thanks so far.

I'm running 32 bit Windows XP Pro on the client machine.

I searched for the Ghost Solution Forum without finding it.

I'll try to move my posting to the right forum.

You have been moved to the right forum already, by Cycletech.

This is the Ghost Solution Suite forum (Cycletech omitted the "suite" part of the forum name).

I understand that build 2269 has resolutions for the c0000005 error on the client.   If you search the forums for 2269 you will find several posts that have more than 100 replys about this.  You will need to contact symantec to get the 2269 files.

    cheers.

The c0000005 error has been resolved in Ghost 2.5.1 build 2298. This documented here:
