  • 1.  End Point 12 Client not communicating with Management Console

    Hello, 

    My organization recently purchased End Point 12. We installed the Management Console and remotely pushed Clients to PCs. The clients installed but will not report into the Management Console. 

    I can ping the Management server from the client and vice versa. I even have the firewall disabled on both client PC and server. Still the issue persists. 

    Please help.

    I would like you to run Sylink Monitor to collect the sylink log file for real-time debugging.

    Please find the website to download Sylink Monitor tool.

    Enable Sylink debugging for the Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.x and 12.1 client in the Windows Registry.

    After you enabled the sylink debugging.

    Ran The sylink monitor tool

    In order to collect log Stop -Smc service and start Smc- service.

    Let the tool run for 10 to 15 minutes.

    And attach the log file

    Are the clients managed or unmanaged ?smiley

    Have you check the client status. What the exact location display on clients??

    check the communication troubleshooting link before you enable sylink and post the logs here

    Please check whether the Port 8443 is opened bi-directional

    Hi,

    Check 80 and 8014 ports are open

    80 and 8014 communication  between symantec manager and client check this once you open this two ports communication will start.

    During the installation did you change the communication port?
