Is it possible to downgrade SEPM 12.x to 11.x? Anybody has ever done this?

Why do you want to downgrade.....

The only way to downgrade is to Uninstall and Reintalld.

Reason : 11 and 12 have two different technologies....

Downgrade could be done only via Uninstall of SEP 12.1 and Reinstall of SEP 11.x

Again, the Question arises why Downgrade?? Any Specific Reason??

You need to have SEP 11 database and certifcate, if yes, you need to uninstall SEPM 12 and install Fresh SEP 11 and restore the DB and the certificates.

Because of our company's policy that just want to use 1 version before latest version. But I've already upgraded our SEPM from 11.x to 12.x and now need to downgrade.

Is there any specific manual to do this?

I do not think there is available for downgrade.

You need to use the DR steps for SEP 12.1 as well , in case if you come across issues while dowgrade.

The downgrade is straight forward, do you have SEP 11 DB and certificate?

Does it specifically say Latest version OR Latest Updated Release??

What version of SEP 12.1 are you carrying??

There are 2 versions of SEP 12.1 Released.

1) SEP 12.1 RTM (SEPM and SEP client) version 12.1.671.4971 Released on July 2011

2) SEP 12.1 RU1 (SEPM and SEP client) version 12.1.1000.157 Released on Nov 2011

Infact, Technically you may be using the RTM version, which is 1 version before the newer Release Update (RU)

I would say re-confirm that.
