Hello,
There are lot of details which we need when you are a single line question. However, I would try my level best to answer you.
Do you have Symantec Endpoint Protection clients which are Managed or UnManaged?
Incase, if they are UnManaged, the Symantec Endpoint Protection clients have the Following:
1) Liveupdate Button: Providing the Users a full control when to download the Definitions.
2) By Default, the Liveupdate also runs itself automatically as shown below:
Incase, if they are Managed, the Symantec Endpoint Protection clients have the Following:
1) Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager Liveupdate Policy - This Policy is for SEPM to update itself.
2) Symantec Endpoint Protection Client Liveupdate Policy - This Policy decides on how you want the Liveupdate on the clients to be configured.
Once the above policies are set properly, the clients would update themselves.
Again, there is a Seperate Liveupdate Administrator Utility, which can update SEPM and SEP clients from a different machine altogether, for which Avkash has updated you above.
Hope that helps!!
