Hello,

 

As you know, when copying files from a source to a destination a pop-up appears in the upper-left corner of the screen saying that files are being scanned. Is there a way to prevent this pop-up from appearing?

Hey Stefan,

Go to System -> Agent Configuration -> Edit config -> Advanced Agent Settings

Set the UI.NO_SCAN.int to any value other than 0 and the scan dialog will not be displayed.

Based on the DLP 11.x:

Log into DLP Enforce Server Console, choose 'Agents' --> 'Agent Configuration' --> click to choose your endpoint configuration name --> 'Advanced Agent Settings':

There is an option named 'UI.NO_SCAN.int', the default value is 0.

Change the number other than 0, such as 1, then, the scan dialog will not display.

The configuration on the DLP 10.x is a little different. The 'Advanced Agent Settings' is located under the Server's advanced settings.

I tried the same thing  (change the value from 0 to 1 for 'UI.NO_SCAN.int'  in the agent advanced settings) but it's not working can you please help me on this issue.

for your info, we are using Symantec dlp 15.5.0203.1002
