I'm doing a trial of SEP Small Business with two clients. In both cases, the dbsrv9 process is approaching 500M of RAM usage. One client only has 3 workstations being managed, the other has 9.
A number of threads show that you can limit the amount of memory this process uses by going to Server area of the Admin tab. Well, that seems to be another feature of the SB product that was omitted.
There has to be a way to restrict the memory usage of this process. This will probably be a deal breaker if there is no fix for this. I'm trying to move my clients back to Symantec from Trend, we moved because of the disasterous initial release of SEP11.
