  • 1.  Can't install SEP 12 for XP.Error 2343. Specified path is empty.

    Hi all,

    Last time I have installed SEP 11.Now I would like to upgraded SEP to version 12. I have used CleanWipe tool for uninstalling the SEP 11. Howerver, I can't install SEP 12,it appears the error box " Error 2343. Specified path is empty ". I try many time but I still get this error.

    Any help?

    Hi,

    Use the Windows Cleanup Utility can resolve this issue

     

    1. download and install Windwos Cleanup Utility

    2. Run Windows Cleanup utility

    3. find the Symantec Endpoint Protection and select remove

    4. re-install SEP Client

    Can you post the install log

    %temp%\SEP_INST.log

    or open this log and copy 10-15 lines above first "return value 3" and paste it over here.
